Terms of Use

By downloading, installing, or using Earth Realtime ("the app"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. The in-app End User License Agreement (EULA) presented at first run also applies.
License
Earth Realtime grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the app. Paid tiers are provided under a subscription or term license as described at checkout, and each paid plan may be activated on a limited number of devices at a time (for example, 2 devices on Advanced and 3 on Premium). You may not resell, redistribute, reverse-engineer, or attempt to circumvent the app's licensing or device-activation limits.
Data and third-party sources
Earth Realtime displays live data obtained from public and third-party providers. That data is provided "as is". We do not guarantee its accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or availability, and it may be delayed, incomplete, or incorrect.
Some feeds require your own API key or agency account. Those credentials are issued to you, by that provider, under that provider's own terms — Earth Realtime is the client that connects with them on your behalf. You are responsible for obtaining them and for using them in accordance with the issuing provider's terms.
Several data sources are licensed on condition that their attribution or notice is displayed. The app renders those credits and required notices under Settings → About; you may not remove, obscure, or misattribute them.
Not for safety-critical use
Earth Realtime is provided for information, situational awareness, and educational purposes only. It is not certified for navigation, air-traffic control, search-and-rescue, or any other safety-of-life or operational decision-making. Do not rely on it where inaccurate or delayed information could cause harm.
Payments and refunds
Purchases are processed by our merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy (a Stripe company), whose terms and refund policy apply to transactions. Manage or cancel your subscription at any time from inside the app or the customer portal.
Acceptable use
- Use the app lawfully and in line with the terms of the underlying data providers.
- Do not use the app to harass, endanger, or unlawfully surveil any individual.
- Do not overload or abuse third-party data services accessed through the app.
- Recordings you make are stored on your own computer as encrypted .erec files and are yours. If you share one, the underlying providers' terms still apply to the data inside it.
Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Earth Realtime and its creators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app or its data.
Changes
We may update these Terms as the product evolves. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
